With the NFL season about to kickoff, fans and players around the world are ready. Since the suspect Super Bowl much has happened. Until recently, we knew that New England Patriots QB, Tom Brady, would be suspended 4 games for his role in "Deflategate" during the AFC Championship game. However, the suspension was overturned by a judge in appeals court. Ultimately, allowing us to see the great Tom Brady week 1.
Other than that exciting news, Jimmy Graham left Drew Brees and the “Who DAT” nation for Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. This should be an interesting change up to watch as the season goes on. Adrian Peterson has returned in the backfield for the Minnesota Vikings with some new weapons along with some old ones for second year QB Teddy Bridgewater to use at his discretion.
We can not forget all of the college superstars who were drafted, ready for their chance in the pros from QBs Marcus Mariota(Titans) and Jameis Winston(Buccaneers) to Amari Cooper is taking his talents to Oakland to catch some passes from Derek Carr. On the defensive side of the ball, CB Travis Wayne and DE Eli Harold were drafted to show the world what they have to offer to the pros. This year the draft was filled with athletes showcasing a lot of talent, so we hope to see them impact the league for many years to come.
The Dallas Cowboys are fired up for this season trying to bounce back from “The Catch” game, and we all know Dez Bryant has something to prove. With his confidence of being the best WR in the NFL, he is now going to be paid like one. Rex Ryan is still in New York but closer to Canada, with him now coaching the Bills. He plans on having them make some noise in the AFC EAST, however only time will tell just how loud it will be. In other news, J.J Watt is still leading the Houston Texans in a crazy AFC South.
If this season is anything like last season, everyone should be excited. However, I honestly feel like it will be better. Why do i feel this way? I feel as though there are more competitive teams than there was last year. The league has added more explosive players to give you those 'OMG' moments. Just make sure you are in front of your TVs Sunday Afternoon.
